My Background
I fell in love with the art of photography after taking my first monochrome pictures then processing and printing them in the darkroom. I graduated to color film leveraging small, medium, and large format cameras and then joining the world of digital photography. I am inspired by virtually all of my surroundings and have photographed many different subjects, scenes, and moments. There are photo opportunities waiting around every corner.
Photography as Communication
We are all surrounded by the wonders and natural beauty of interesting people, landscapes, and ecosystems full of wildlife. The art of photography is the melding of observation, experimental creativity, and science. My cameras are the vehicles that enable me to document the world and deliver images representing the magic I find in daily life. My photographs tell my stories.
Sharing Stories
